Mental health services

The Mental Health Service provides a crisis response and support service, as well as in-patient services for children, adolescents and adults with mental illnesses.

Health services for the elderly include in-patient, day-patient and community assessment and support. Alexandra Hospital provides a residential service for elderly people with special needs and a community team for the assessment and care of the elderly with mental health issues.

A community support service is available for people who have an intellectual impairment, including day services and community residential services.
